Dolan Dobrinsky Rosenblum Bluestein Ranked Fourth In The National Law Journal’s Top 100 Verdicts

The National Law Journal’s Top 100 Verdicts lists the nation’s highest-ranking verdicts by gross award calculated by the jury and is compiled annually by Law.com analyst team, VerdictSearch.

Attorney Randy Rosenblum led the litigation against Big Tobacco company Philip Morris for the estate of Barbara Ellen Fontaine who died of lung cancer in January 2017, after smoking Parliament cigarettes for 40 years.

The trial resulted in a jury award of $1,000,000,000 in punitive damages and $8,140,000 in compensatory damages. Jurors found against Philip Morris including on negligent design, breach of warranty, fraud and conspiracy claims.

The National Law Journal has ranked this verdict fourth in their Top 100 Verdicts list for 2022.
