MEET LAURA

Laura Navia is an associate at Dolan Dobrinsky Rosenblum Bluestein, LLP, where she focuses her practice on plaintiff-side personal injury and complex civil litigation.

Laura represents individuals who have suffered serious injuries, bringing a strategic perspective shaped by her prior experience handling litigation on behalf of corporate defendants and insurers. This background provides her with valuable insight into how cases are evaluated, defended, and resolved, allowing her to anticipate defense strategies and advocate effectively for her clients.

Before joining the firm, Laura managed a substantial caseload of maritime and civil litigation matters in both state and federal courts. She handled cases involving cruise lines and other maritime defendants, advised on liability and damages exposure, and developed litigation strategies from pre-suit through resolution.

Her experience includes drafting and arguing dispositive motions, managing all phases of discovery, preparing witnesses for deposition and trial, and conducting settlement negotiations. She has successfully resolved matters outside of mediation and has experience navigating complex, high-exposure cases.

Laura earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law, where she was a scholarship recipient. She received her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations, summa cum laude, from Florida International University Honors College.

She is admitted to practice in Florida and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Laura is fluent in Spanish.
