Attorney Rosenblum Helps Women Receive $2.5M Verdict But Hints at How Tricky Tobacco Cases Can Be

Attorney Randy Rosenblum teamed up with Jacksonville lawyers Richard Lantinberg and Allen Jay Plotkin of the Wilner Firm to hit Philip Morris USA INC. , a tobacco company, with a $2.5 million verdict for the daughter of Guy Cuddihee who died in 1994 from lung cancer. The jurors decided against punitive damages. This decision seemed to stem from the plaintiff showing no signs of quitting when he was alive.  Attorney Rosenblum explains further how jurors have a prejudice against smokers and that cases like this face an uphill battle when looking for punitive damages to be awarded from the jury.
