Dan Dolan Gives St. Thomas University School of Law its Largest Ever Alumni Donation

St. Thomas University School of Law Class of ’96 alumnus Dan Dolan has donated $100,000 to the School’s recently launched naming opportunity campaign. Mr. Dolan’s generous donation – the largest single gift donated by an alumnus in the Law School’s almost 25-year history – was given to name the Ken Feldman Center for Student Affairs. The donation honors Kenneth N. Feldman, an immensely popular Adjunct Law Professor and the former Director of Pro-Bono Services who passed away in May 2007.

“As a proud St. Thomas alumnus I remain committed to the law school mission and the role it plays in this legal community,” said Mr. Dolan. “The decision to make a donation in professor Feldman’s name was intended to acknowledge his dedication to the law school and to his students.”

“I can’t begin to express my gratitude to Dan for his magnificent gift of $100,000 in memory of Ken Feldman,” said Law School Dean Alfredo Garcia. “Not only does his gift keep the memory of Professor Feldman alive, his donation provides our Law School the opportunity to remain on the cutting edge of legal education, as well as improving the critical resources needed to ensure our Law School’s reputation. In addition, Dan’s support enables us to continue to provide competitive financial aid for our top students and at the same time, secure other gifts from our alumni. We are truly honored to receive this donation.”
